Pontoon boats/deck boats are constructed with two cylinders by fitting a flat deck over the pontoons. The deck is also normally fitted with a railing to prevent anyone falling from the sides. The deck is normally covered with shades of canvas in small boats and of fiber glass or metal in the bigger sizes. These boats are not meant to be used as speed boats but merely for floating leisurely on a standing body of water.
